AECI Spraypave’s people are my people

Vinah Chule of Botha’s Hill has worked in what is today AECI Spraypave’s Durban branch for an impressive 32 years. She joined Bewloc in 1989, then worked for Inyanga Roads on its acquisition of Bewloc some years later. AECI Spraypave purchased the company from Inyanga in 2010 to expand its footprint in the KwaZulu-Natal market and Vinah found herself as part of the AECI Spraypave family.

“I ensure that everybody works in a clean environment, enjoying a good cup of coffee while doing so. I see myself as the ‘mother’ of the branch and enjoy every moment of it,” she says. “I’ve been working in this building for 32 years and I’ve seen things at their worst and at their best. Being part of this group does not feel like work, but rather taking care of my family.”

When AECI Much Asphalt acquired AECI Spraypave in 2015 Vinah was still happily ensconced in her family and there she remains today as Spraypave celebrates its 40th anniversary.

In a nutshell, she says, AECI Spraypave’s people are my people!”
